BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — One of the best linebackers in Michigan State history has come to the defense of embattled coaches Tom Izzo and Mark Dantonio as their basketball and football programs remain under scrutiny for alleged sexual assaults by players.
Ike Reese, who played at MSU in 1993-97 and was a two-time captain under Nick Saban, said Wednesday that while he’s troubled by the “dark cloud” hanging over his beloved university he still supports both men.
