Less than two months after being arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, former All-Big Ten guard Keith Appling was arrested again early Saturday morning, according to Detroit Police.
As reported by Click on Detroit, Appling was apparently in the back seat of his brother’s car as it was pulled over for speeding at 1:30am near the corner of Hanna St and 7 Mile Rd in Detroit.
The former guard is set to appear in court next Friday in connection to the concealed weapon charge stemming from his arrest on May 1st of this year.
While he was a starter for Tom Izzo’s squad, Appling went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft and is currently in the Orlando Magic organization, playing in the developmental league.
