MASON -- Former Michigan State football player Auston Robertson will face trial on two charges of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, a judge ruled on Thursday morning.
55th District Court judge Thomas Boyd bound Robertson over to circuit court on the two charges after a preliminary exam.
During that exam, a woman testified that Robertson walked her from a car to her apartment in the early hours of April 9, then entered her bedroom and penetrated her against her will.
Robertson was arraigned in April on one count of third degree criminal sexual conduct. Prosecutors added a second count on Thursday based on the alleged victim's testimony of digital penetration.
