Max Rosenthal is the latest former Michigan State football player to find a new home.
And he is not leaving the Big Ten.
The fullback/tight end announced via Twitter he will transfer to Illinois to play for new coach Bret Bielema, whose pro-style offense historically uses a fullback.
“Being a Spartan has meant the world to me and no matter where I go in life I will always bleed green and white,” Rosenthal wrote Tuesday. “For as long as I can remember, I have always dreamed of competing in the Big Ten and to receive a world class education, so these pasts four years have been nothing short of a dream come true.
