Deyonta Davis has bounced around a bit this offseason, getting let go by the Memphis Grizzlies and pursued by the Sacramento Kings, but the former Michigan State star found himself without a job as he was waived shortly after.
Playing just one season at Michigan State in 2015-16, many believed he needed a more polished game before heading to the NBA, but he felt as if he was ready and scouts were projecting him as high as the No. 10 pick in the draft. That didn’t quite happen as he slid to No. 31 overall — the first pick in the second round.
