A former Michigan State basketball standout is headed north.
The Toronto Raptors announced Wednesday the club has agreed to a deal with former Spartans captain Gabe Brown. The team did not announce the financials behind the deal, but according to Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca, Brown received an Exhibit 10 contract.
Exhibit 10 is a minimum, nonguaranteed deal to attend training camp, where the team controls the player's G League rights. If Brown is able to spend more than 60 days with the G-League affiliate (in this case, Raptors 905) he is eligible for a $50,000 bonus.
