When the Chicago Sky closed the door on Tori Jankoska's WNBA career, she waited for the other door to open.
It did, although the door is more than 4,000 miles away from Freeland.
The former Michigan State and Freeland women's basketball star signed to play for Basket Gdynia, a member of the top women's basketball league in Poland.
"The WNBA didn't turn out the best for me," Jankoska said. "But they have to do what they think is the best thing to do to win games.
"It wasn't hard for me. I was going in kind of expecting to go overseas.
