Rocco Spindler wakes up between 10 a.m. and noon to check the news each day. He eats brunch while watching whatever Netflix show he’s bingeing on. A couple of hours later, the top-50 ranked prospect in the nation makes his way to the basement.
Spindler should be sitting in a classroom at Clarkston High School.
But with the COVID-19 pandemic, normal day-to-day activities have been put on hold, and top high school football prospects — such as Spindler, West Bloomfield's Donovan Edwards and Cass Tech's Kalen King — have been forced to adjust to a new reality in their recruitment and workout routines.
