ANN ARBOR -- It's been no secret Michigan State's offense has failed to live up to expectations this season.
A mix of injuries and turnovers have plagued a group that returned every starter but one from a 10-win team in 2017, one that was thought to be a potential frontrunner for a Big Ten title.
Six games in, though, the 24th-ranked Spartans (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) have not been ruled out of anything. Mark Dantonio's team is coming off its biggest win of the season, a stunning upset at No. 8 Penn State, and dominated the series with Michigan over the last decade.
