A Michigan State football recruit was issued an alcohol citation while taking an official campus visit in January, according to court records.
Jacub Panasiuk, a 17-year-old defensive line prospect from Illinois, was cited for minor in possession of alcohol at 12:51 a.m. on Jan. 14 in East Lansing, according to court records.
The misdemeanor infraction was later dismissed and Panasiuk was instead issued a civil infraction and paid a $155 fine on March 31, according to records.
In between his original citation and when the case closed, Panasiuk, a high school senior, signed his National Letter of Intent with Michigan State on Feb.
