The Michigan Sports Hall of Fame has opened its voting booth for the public to decide the inductees for the 2016 class. Among the nominated athletes are two individuals with Michigan State ties, Flozell Adams and Dawn Riley.
Adams, a five-time pro Bowler and 2010 AFC Champion, spent 13 years in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers. He started in all but four games from 1998-2010, earning second team All-Pro honors in 2007 as well. "The Hotel" spent his college career in East Lansing under former head coach Nick Saban from 1994-97. He was a three-year starter, receiving the Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year award as a senior.
