Well that was unexpected. Coming off a COVID created bye week, the Spartans found some new life on both sides of the ball and came up with a big time upset of top-ten and previously undefeated Northwestern. It was reminiscent of the Michigan game in not only that the Spartans got the win, but also that it was a much more complete game. It started with the defense and the offense was able to do enough to win. Let’s take a look.
