EAST LANSING - A week ago, Felton Davis answered postgame press conference questions with a smile.
The senior wide receiver had just helped lead Michigan State to an upset win at Penn State and was asked if it was the biggest game of his career.
"I hope so," he said.
The game-winning touchdown catch Davis hauled in with 19 seconds left at Penn State proved to be his last college reception and came in the final game he would finish with the Spartans. He suffered a torn Achilles tendon during the second quarter of Saturday's 21-7 loss to Michigan at Spartan Stadium and his Michigan State career is over.
