Felton Davis is Michigan State's lone starting WR not injured and looking to step up

EAST LANSING - Felton Davis ran an out route in one-on-one coverage and caught a pass from Brian Lewerke on the left side of the field.

The Michigan State senior wide receiver spun out of a tackle, sprinted down the sideline and made a quick inside cut to fool a defender before being stopped just shy of the goal line.

The 37-yard reception was another example of the athleticism and talent Davis possesses as one of the top receivers in the Big Ten. It also came in the third quarter of Michigan State's 31-20 win against Central Michigan last week and was his first reception of the game.
