EAST LANSING — Aaron Burbridge came a long way at Michigan State, from a hyped-up freshman who didn't know all the plays his first season to team MVP on the nation's No. 6-ranked team.
Burbridge was voted the Spartans Most Valuable Player after a senior season that saw him win Big Ten Receiver of the Year honors, his clutch catches against Oregon and Iowa helping make the difference in those pivotal victories over top 10-ranked teams.
Burbridge led the Big Ten in receptions with 85 last season, which also stands as MSU's single-season record. He also led the Big Ten in receiving yards with 1,258, the second straight Spartan to do so, following 2014 Big Ten Receiver of the Year and team MVP Tony Lippett.
