Houston – Morten Andersen, the NFL’s all-time leading scorer, became the fourth kicker selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday night. Andersen is joined in the class by quarterback Kurt Warner, linebacker Jason Taylor and running backs Terrell Davis and LaDainian Tomlinson.
Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones also joins the Hall as a contributor, while former Seahawks safety Kenny Easley (1981-87) was a veteran’s committee selection.
Andersen, who was born in Denmark, played three seasons for Michigan State, earning All-America honors as a junior. A fourth-round draft pick in 1982, he would go on to play 25 seasons in the NFL with the Saints, Falcons, Giants, Chiefs and Vikings.
