There's not much in the small town in Georgia where Keith Mumphery grew up. A few stoplights. A gas station or two. And a Piggly Wiggly.
Not really anything else. And the folks who live there don't have much, either, at least listening to Mumphery tell it.
"When you come from where I come from, all you got is your name," the former Michigan State wide receiver and former NFL player told the Free Press last week.
Mumphery said that was his motivation to sue MSU after first being found to have not violated the school's sexual misconduct policy despite an accusation of rape; then being found during a review to have lacked consent for sex with the unnamed female who filed the complaint.
