Former Michigan State football player Auston Robertson is in custody, two days after he was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
The Meridian Township Police Department posted Sunday on its Facebook page that Robertson was in custody. Late on Friday, hours after charges were authorized for Robertson in 55th District Court, the Meridian Township Police posted on their website that they were seeking to apprehend Robertson and were asking the public for help in locating the native of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The charges came after an incident on April 9 when Robertson is accused of assaulting a women in her apartment.
