Ex-Michigan State walk-on punter William Przystup transfers to Nebraska

Former Michigan State football punter William Przystup is planning to transfer within the Big Ten.

The true freshman walk-on announced via Twitter on Monday that he will enroll at Nebraska after serving as the Spartans’ fourth full-time punter this season.

Przystup punted in MSU’s final four games, averaging 40.6 yards on his 27 attempts. Nine of those landed inside the 20, and five sailed 50 yards or farther. The 6-foot-4, 244-pound, left-footed punter was named to Sports Illustrated’s All-Bowl team for his performance against Oregon, with his seven punts averaging 43.1 yards.
