Pat McAfee, the former NFL kicker/punter who has become a media mogul and one of the newest featured commentators for ESPN, is under fire for a tweet in which he criticized Michigan State football's neon uniforms by suggesting, seemingly in gist, disgraced former sports doctor Larry Nassar helped with them.
"I think Nassar was in on the design team actually," McAfee tweeted in response to a photo of the neon uniforms.
McAfee was signed away from FanDuel by ESPN for a reported $85 million contract to do his radio show/podcast across several platforms, including the linear TV network.
