Larry Nassar, the former Michigan State University doctor who is facing first degree criminal sexual conduct charges in two counties for allegedly assaulting many of his female patients, is expected to face trial in Eaton County early next year.
Nassar was a nationally-known doctor in the gymnastics field and has been accused of sexually assaulting young women and girls while treating them for injuries. He faces several charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct charges in Ingham and Eaton counties.
Last month, Ingham County Circuit Court Judge Rosemarie Aquilina set a trial date for 8:30 a.m. Dec. 4 to begin jury selection in that county's case.
