Eastern Michigan basketball ties NCAA record with 4 first-half points

Four.

Amazingly, that's how many points Eastern Michigan's basketball team managed against Rutgers in the first half Monday night.

Four.

Two lonely field goals, one at the 14-minute mark on a jumper by Kevin McAdoo and the other a layup by James Thompson IV with 5:36 left in the half. That's it, and the Eagles trailed Rutgers 31-4 at the break, sending social media into a frenzy.

Eastern Michigan.... Good Lord you are a D1 Program. This is an impossibility. pic.twitter.com/UssW3hWz0p
