He spun out of trouble before setting his feet and whipping the ball as if an arrow shot from a bow. But that was only half of the play that saved Michigan State’s season Friday night.
The other half came when Felton Davis III stretched out and plucked that slingshot from quarterback, Brian Lewerke, some 31 yards down the field, with less than four minutes to play and the Spartans trailing Utah State by a point.
