Mark Dantonio brought back another familiar face to Michigan State’s coaching staff Monday.
He is expected to add another this week.
Dantonio announced the hiring of Don Treadwell to coach the Spartans’ special teams and assist with defensive backs. The former MSU offensive coordinator in 2007-10 also will assume a newly created role as “freshman head coach” to oversee first-year players on and off the field.
