The Michigan State Spartans have persevered through injury-induced adversity since the early days of preseason training camp. Despite going into each game missing various key players, they managed to win eight times and hold onto a spot in the Top 10.
This week, the Spartans will have to deal with trauma of a different kind and at a whole other level.
In the wake of seeing victory snatched away from them in the final seconds of Saturday night’s game at Nebraska, the Spartans must recover from a heart-breaking 39-38 loss that affects every player, coach and support-staff member.
