CHICAGO -- All the expected names appear on the Michigan State preseason football roster, and a few are in interesting places on the depth chart released today, in advance of Big Ten media sessions.
At the all-important cornerback positions, junior Demetrious Cox is listed as the No. 1 boundary corner, while junior Darian Hicks and senior Arjen Colquhoun are listed as co-starters at field corner. Junior Jermaine Edmondson is No. 3 behind them. Hicks started next to Trae Waynes in 2014, before losing his job late in the season to Tony Lippett.
Redshirt freshman Vayante Copeland is listed as Cox's backup.
