EAST LANSING - He wasn't "Goal Line Stew" on Saturday.
Michigan State receiver Darrell Stewart led the way in Michigan State's spring game with a pair of touchdown catches as the Spartans' offense topped the defense, 32-30.
Stewart, the Spartans junior, finished with four catches for 69 yards, leading the team in receiving yards. His second touchdown catch, on a throw from Rocky Lombardi with 11 seconds left, proved the game-winner.
With leading returning receiver Felton Davis sitting out the game - Mark Dantonio didn't provide a reason for him or the several other key players who were out - Stewart stepped into a lead role in the Spartans' passing attack.
