Michigan State University Football Coach Mark Dantonio talks to reporters at the Metro Detroit Coaches Clinic on April 6, 2016. Max Cohen, Special to the Detroit Free Press
Mark Dantonio arrived at the Horatio Williams Foundation in Detroit on Wednesday afternoon looking to strengthen the bond between his program and area high-school coaches at Michigan State’s fourth annual Metro Detroit Coaches Clinic. He didn’t have to do it alone, though.
Because when the coaches in attendance walked into the clinic, the first thing they saw were the trophies the Spartans earned last season for winning the Big Ten East, the Big Ten championship game and making it to the College Football Playoff.
