East Lansing – Michigan State had gone 364 days without a loss before falling at Nebraska on Saturday, a testament to how far the program has come under coach Mark Dantonio.
Some, however, believe the season is now a loss, that there's nothing else to play for.
It's a theory Dantonio and the 14th-ranked Spartans do not subscribe to.
"I guess we're pretty spoiled around here at this point and that's a good thing," Dantonio said at his weekly news conference Tuesday. "I think that's a good thing, but we lost one football game. There's a lot to play for and I told our players that on Sunday.
