EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State football team held its ninth practice of the spring on Tuesday afternoon under partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 40s on the John and Becky Duffey Practice Fields.
Prior to practice, Spartan head coach Mark Dantonio talked about the team’s first spring scrimmage last Friday and looked ahead to the final two weeks of spring drills.
“I thought we had a great scrimmage, very active,” said Dantonio, as the defense picked up the 38-27 victory over the offense. “A lot of good things in the scrimmage, both sides of the ball really.
