Hitting the recruiting trail hard this month, Mark Dantonio has grown the 2016 Michigan State recruiting class to seven from a previous two before spring game week. Messiah deWeaver was the domino to make the rest fall and now the 2017 class is on the radar, starting with top running back D’Andre Swift.
According to 247Sports, the all-purpose back is ranked No. 1 in the entire nation for his position and No. 17 overall. The Philadelphia-native is one of the quickest backs in the country, clocking a 4.43 40-yard dash as a sophomore in high school.
