Sometimes it pays to have billionaire alumni.
It was announced today that Quicken Loans founder and Michigan State alum Dan Gilbert, and his wife Jennifer, also a Spartan, will be donating $15 Million dollars towards additions and renovations to the Breslin Center, in addition to supporting some phenomenal programs.
This is the second significant donation in the last year-plus for the Michigan State basketball program, after former star Draymond Green donated $3.1 Million for a new weight room last September.
The Gilberts' gift will support a new addition and renovation of the Breslin Center at MSU that will enhance the fan experience for the more than 500,000 people who attend basketball games and other events there each year.
