The Michigan State football team has lost four straight games, but former quarterback Kirk Cousins isn’t worried about an irreparable downward trend for the program.
“It happens. It’s a part of playing this game, you know?” the Washington Redskins quarterback said in a conference call today with Detroit reporters. “The other teams are good, too. It’s part of playing a game. You never know. Anything can happen.
“They’ll be all right, they’ll regroup, get it together, and I think they’ve got a lot of good football ahead of them this season.”
Cousins will lead his Washington team, 4-2 and on a four-game winning streak, into Ford Field on Sunday (1 p.
