Being around the Final Four in Houston may not be the best medicine, but time has helped Matt Costello deal with the abrupt finish to his Michigan State career.
“It’s tough, but you’ve got to move on,” Costello said Friday of the Spartans’ stunning loss to Middle Tennessee in the first round of the 2016 NCAA tournament. “You can’t dwell on it too much, especially being a senior. The next step of your life is what you’ve got to focus on and put all your effort into. There’s a time to mourn, but now I think everybody’s trying to move on and take care of the next step of their lives.
