Connor Cook Closing In On Becoming MSU’s All-Time Winningest Quarterback

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The unrefined essence of Connor Cook’s winning ways first became evident in the final game of the 2012 season.

Relying more on moxie than training, the redshirt freshman quarterback came off the bench to shift the balance for a Michigan State team that was teetering toward a losing record in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.

Twenty-seven wins later, Cook is on the verge of becoming the all-time leader for victories by a Spartan starting quarterback heading into Saturday’s 100th Homecoming game and Big Ten opener against Purdue.
