On a picture perfect day in East Lansing, the Spartans got a picturesque start to the game against Central Michigan. It did start of shaky, as Montae Nicholson was burned on a deep pass play, but the defense held strong and forced a field that was blocked.

The offense came out and did exactly what they should do as the No. 2-ranked team in the country. On the first offensive play for the Spartans, Connor Cook hit Macgarrett Kings Jr., who made a fantastic catch, on a deep post play.
