EAST LANSING -- National Signing Day isn't for another seven weeks, but Michigan State has already inked two members of its 2017 recruiting class.
Josiah Scott, a three-star cornerback from Ohio, signed a financial aid agreement to join the Spartans next season during a ceremony his high school near Cincinnati on Monday.
Scott is set to enroll early in East Lansing, starting classes in the spring semester beginning in early January. Enrolling early will allow Scott him to participate in Michigan State's winter conditioning program and its 15 spring practices before his freshman season in 2017.
"I can go up there, get bigger, faster and stronger earlier than everybody else.
