Cassius Winston Selected as Finalist for Bob Cousy Award

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State sophomore men’s basketball player Cassius Winston was named one of 10 finalists for the Bob Cousy Award by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Named after Hall of Famer and former Boston Celtic Bob Cousy, this honor recognizes the top point guard in men’s college basketball.

Winston has helped Michigan State, ranked No. 5 in the Associated Press poll and No. 4 in the USA Today Coaches poll, to a 22-3 overall record, including a 10-2 mark in Big Ten Conference action.

A starter in all 25 games, Winston is fourth on the team in scoring with 12.
