Cassius Peat is coming back to East Lansing. He hopes to pick up where he left off.
The defensive lineman confirmed to the Free Press today that he will re-enroll at Michigan State this summer and join the Spartans for preseason camp after leaving the program shortly before the 2016 season.
“Emotionwise, I’m just really relieved and very humble for another chance,” Peat said via phone from his home in Arizona. “It’s rare; this never happens. I’m just excited to get back and leave it all out on the field for coach (Mark) Dantonio and the people who helped me get back.
