DES MOINES, Iowa — The frustration and despair that usually engulfs a losing locker room wasn’t there Thursday afternoon. Bradley’s effort didn’t warrant that.
Although the Braves couldn’t become the latest 15 seed to topple a No. 2, Bradley gave powerhouse Michigan State a battle. The Braves' 76-65 loss at Wells Fargo Arena had plenty of March’s magical elements.
“For 30 minutes, we had them,” Bradley senior Luqman Lundy said. “I’m proud of my team for that.”
Michigan State entered with 10 wins in their last 11 games, including three to win the Big Ten tournament in Chicago.
