A state board has permanently revoked former Michigan State University doctor Larry Nassar's medical license, according to the Attorney General's office.
Nassar - who was sentenced to decades in prison after he pleaded guilty to state criminal sexual conduct charges and federal child pornography charges - first had his license temporarily revoked in January 2017 after an administrative complaint was filed by the Attorney General's office.
On Thursday, the state Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery heard a second complaint from the Attorney Generals office based on his criminal sexual conduct convictions and permanently revoked his license to practice in Michigan, Attorney General spokesperson Andrea Bitely said.
