Spartans take lead into the break
MSU was surgical on offense for the first 16 minutes of the first half against Maryland, piling up the assists and building an 11-point lead. The Terrapins were able to mount a little resistance before the break, but MSU still leads, 41-33.
Denzel Valentine was masterful. He has eight assists, six points and five rebounds. He really is Mr. Everything for the Spartans.
Eron Harris and Alvin Ellis hit a pair of 3-pointers each to help build the lead.
