EAST LANSING - The Big Ten Conference announced the 2017-18 league hockey schedule on Thursday, May 4. The slate for the upcoming season includes 24 conference games with the addition of Notre Dame as an affiliate member for hockey.
Michigan State’s complete schedule, including non-conference games, will be released later this spring. Times and television designations will be announced separately closer to the start of the season.
The Spartans will play 10 league games before the end of the 2017 calendar year, starting with Nov. 3-4 at Minnesota as MSU will have its earliest start to Big Ten play since the league’s inception.
