The Big Ten football season is nearing a finish line, and not without controversy.
As the season finished its tenth week of play, the No. 7 undefeated Michigan State Spartans were shafted by a late no-call against Nebraska that helped aid a Cornhuskers victory. Although sloppy play-calling and poor defense were the real reason the Spartans lost, those kind of calls that help decide games are something this conference needs to limit.
That means there are two unbeaten teams left in the Big Ten and they may just come in as our top two in this week’s edition of the conference power rankings.
