WEST LAFAYETTE – When Jeff Brohm spoke Tuesday - a couple of hours after the Big Ten canceled the 2020 Big Ten football season - the fourth-year Purdue coach had a confident tone about playing a spring and fall season in 2021.
Now we know why.
Brohm has developed a detailed plan outlining how the conference can play a total of 18 regular-season games during an 11-month period and still protect the players from a health and safety standpoint with enough time off to recover.
