The Big Ten has extended its moratorium on team activities another month.
Athletic teams at the 14 member schools cannot hold any practices or pursue any face-to-face recruiting activities through May 4, when the conference said it will re-evaluate the situation with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
“The Big Ten Conference will continue to use this time to work with the appropriate medical experts and institutional leadership to determine next steps relative to the COVID-19 pandemic,” the league said in a statement.
