Bad News For Spartan & NBA Memphis Grizzlies Center Deyonta Davis

Grizzlies rookie Deyonta Davis left Michigan State after one year and was the first pick of the second round in this year’s NBA draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. His new team announced yesterday that he has plantar fasciitis in his left foot. Davis is expected to miss the team’s first three summer league games in Las Vegas. He is under daily observation.

The Grizzlies announced, “While participating in individual workouts in Memphis, Davis developed plantar fasciitis in his left foot. He is expected to miss the first three games at the 2016 Samsung NBA Summer League in Las Vegas and will be re-evaluated daily.
