The Michigan economy is in the process of a slow, incremental re-opening, but Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is pumping the brakes on hopes professional sports leagues will be able pack the stands in the coming months.
In a wide-ranging interview with the Mojo in the Morning show Tuesday morning, Whitmer noted the state is not close to that level of normalcy in its ongoing measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I think you can talk to your kids and say these are things we know, these are the unknowns, but we’re making progress," Whitmer said.
