Georgia State had just grabbed a 7-0 lead over N.C. State, and Shawn Elliott had reason to be pumped.

Georgia State wound up losing to the Wolfpack, 41-7, so that saved Elliott from any further injury. Elliott says he'll need surgery next week.

Of course, it was only three years ago that Georgia State basketball coach Ron Hunter tore his Achilles while celebrating his team's berth into the NCAA Tournament.
