EAST LANSING - Michigan State’s annual Pro Camp will take place next week at Munn Ice Arena with over 15 Spartans slated to take part in the event. The camp will run Monday, Aug. 22 – Friday, Aug. 26 with players skating from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Munn each day. The camp is free and open to spectators.
The longtime event, which is run by MSU assistant coach Tom Newton and goaltending coach Jason Muzzatti, helps the players prepare for their upcoming training camps with their respective professional teams. MSU had players in the NHL, American Hockey League, East Coast Hockey League and in various European leagues last season.
